Remembering our Roots
What started out in a garage in 1961, is today over 1.3 million square feet of world class manufacturing, specialized fabrication, precision machining, warehouse and distribution facilities in Ogden, Utah and Pocatello, Idaho. Today we employ over 500 employees and have strong roots in the communities we operate in.
Petersen Inc. has a long reputation of giving back to the local community. We like to call it “The Petersen Way” of doing business – take care of the employees and their families, take care of our customers, and give back to the community that supports us.

Our History
Established in 1961, Petersen Inc. started in a garage but is now over 1.3 million square feet of world class advanced manufacturing, specialized fabrication, precision machining and 3PL warehouse and distribution facilities.
The Petersen Way
At Petersen Inc., we go BIG- Begin In Gratitude! This “attitude of gratitude” is contagious because at Petersen Inc., we truly have much to be grateful for. As part of that initiative, “The Petersen Way” was created. Recognizing the good things that go on at our facilities, and the good people that work here. Petersen Inc. is proud to be involved in the communities in which it operates, and in which the employees of Petersen Inc. reside.
Besides contributing to local schools, programs, civic groups, organizations and even team members when the need arises — Petersen Inc. organizes and runs an annual charity golf tournament for our customers and vendors with the proceeds going to local schools, charities, and families in need. Since the tournament began in 1984, over $380,000 has been donated to these worthy causes.
