Petersen Inc. is one of the Top - 100
privately held companies in the State of Utah. Our
contribution to a strong economy is deeply engraved
in Weber County and Ogden City where more than 90%
of the employees who work at Petersen live. Steve
Petersen has served as the President of the Utah
Steel Fabricators Association. Rob Despain,
Petersen Inc.'s V.P. Business Development has
also served as President of the Utah Steel
Fabricators Association. Petersen Inc. is involved
in promoting Utah companies. We feel that by being
involved we can assist other Utah companies in
promoting themselves to the national industry, thus
bringing more jobs and a better economy to Utah.Steve Petersen -
Principal and Vice Chairman of the Board - takes service to
community very seriously. Steve makes sure that
Petersen Inc. is there to help the community by
donating, participating, and helping in any way we
can. Petersen Inc. has donated the Flagpole to Farr
West City Hall, as well as designing, building and
installing the stadium lights for the Farr West City Park and
Baseball Fields. Petersen Inc. also loans the
needed equipment to various groups and individuals
throughout the community for projects benefiting the
community and the people.
Petersen Inc. is also willing to help the kids at the
local high schools and technical schools. You will
often see kids touring and job shadowing at Petersen
Inc. so that they learn more in a hands-on
environment, and have a good view of the
manufacturing world once they are able to finish
their schooling.
Petersen Inc. management is committed to the
long-term growth, safety, and success of the local
community serving in religious and community
capacities whenever asked to do so, with several
serving in City Councils, etc.
Since its inception of the Annual Charity Golf
Tournament Petersen Inc. has raised
money for community charitable organizations. The company
has raised donations in the hundreds of thousands of
dollars that have been donated
